Film Restoration

When we are encoding and quality checking projects we sometimes discover dust, scratches, splice marks, reel change markers, dropouts and other artefacts in original video masters that need to be cleaned up and ideally seamlessly removed. To do this, for several years now we have been turning to the Diamant Film Restoration suite.

Diamant offers a range of extremely powerful digital film restoration tools that can be applied automatically, interactively or, as is often the case, a combination of both.

Depending on project requirements, we make use of additional software to ingest and assemble raw film scans, sync sound, colour correct and grade footage,, upscale and process video.

Throughout our restoration work we are careful to sustain the look of the original material.
